HomeOwnership Center

ICHDE's Home Ownership Center (HOC) offers a comprehensive program in both English and Spanish, to assist Delaware's homebuyers in reaching their goals. Our Home Ownership services emphasize knowledge and resources. We offer lecture style and hands-on activities - through the book "Road to Home Ownership" to introduce the various steps of the home-buying process.

The HOC meets the needs through our programming that has helped hundreds of lower-income Delaware families realize their goals of affordable homeownership. Our HOC also identifies predatory lending, an increase in default, language barriers, the lack of formal financial education, and a lack of awareness of the home buying process as barriers to successful homeownership.
